The Greer Police Department issued the following press release Monday regarding a collision Sunday evening.

The motorcyclist involved in the traffic collision last night on E. Wade Hampton Blvd died as a result of his injuries. The motorcyclist was a 15 year old male who was a Greer High School student. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The Spartanburg County Coroner will have the deceased name and be the agency to release that information once all family have been notified.
