In honor of this year’s upcoming Tacos and Tequila festival, which is this Sunday, April 7, we’re going around tasting the best tacos Greenville has to offer.

Today, we’ve got White Duck Taco, located at Hampton Station right beside Birds Fly South Brewery.

The popular Ashville-born taco eatery is known for its creative tacos and signature double-layered corn tortillas. Choose from a variety of taco options, including spicy buffalo chicken, fish, black bean and cheese, Korean beef, tofu, jerk chicken, lamb gyro, steak n’cheese, roasted duck, crispy pork belly, Bangkok shrimp and chilled lump crab.

But if you have to choose just one, we recommend the classic spicy buffalo chicken, pictured above. The ingredients sound simple enough – spicy breaded buffalo chicken, lettuce, blue cheese and pico de gallo – but the quality of the ingredients is really what makes the taco what it is.

Most tacos are a little over $3, although you can always go for sides like chips and salsa or some queso to amp things up a bit.
