UPDATE: Bomb Threat at Upstate High School

UPDATE from Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office:

Law enforcement has just finished searching the main campus as well as the freshman campus at Dorman High School. No suspicious device or package was located. Our investigation as to the identity of the caller who made the bomb threat continues. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office would like to sincerely thank officers from the Greenville City Police Department, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the Clemson University Police Department, and the State Law Enforcement Division for their assistance in clearing both campuses.


According to District 6 officials, Dorman High School and the Dorman Freshman Campus are closed today due to a bomb threat that was made. 

Officials say they were contacted by law enforcement this morning about the threat that was called in to 911.

The threat was called into 911. Both schools are being searched.

Officials say it will take several hours to search both school and say they do not want to risk the safety of the students.
