Upstate Mall Shooting Suspect In Custody

The Greenwood Police Department said Tuesday that two people have been charged after a shooting at the Greenwood Mall on Saturday night.

Officers said several males fired an unknown number of rounds inside the mall at a subject just after 7 p.m. Police said a group of young men came out of Foot Locker chasing another male and someone in the group fired multiple shots in the middle of the mall.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

On Tuesday, police announced that one suspect was in custody and another was being sought.

Police said 23 year old Antonio Lafayette Williams of Greenwood, was arrested on warrants for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Officers said Williams was taken into custody at the Greenwood Walmart on Monday evening.

21 year old Narkevious Reid of Greenwood is also wanted on the same charges.

Anyone with information about Reid's whereabouts is urged to call Greenwood police.
