Court records say a South Carolina school district's superintendent has been charged with DUI.
News outlets cite the Greenville County records as saying Cherokee County School District Superintendent Quincie Moore was charged Sunday with DUI. Records show she was released from jail on a $992 personal recognizance bond.
State Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Joe Hovis says Moore was arrested after she crashed her car into another. No one was injured in the collision, and Moore refused to provide a breath sample.
School district Board Chairman Johnny Sarratt Jr. says in a statement the board will meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss Moore's arrest. He says that until the board reviews the situation, it's too soon to comment on her job status.
