Big news week other than the events in Florida others other stuff going on in the world we've. Lots of stuff you talk about absolutely so get ready to be part of it common sense retirement planning text common sense retirement planning tax line 713 easier as seven. Eagles advantage toll free talk on 1803471063. Well first but fur but first but wait there's more. If you are yet or now not we obviously we enjoy having in. Members locally from veterans groups local law enforcement. And today we've got against joining us from Greenville cashier's office. Pretty excited charges ears yeah charging Jimmie McNealy. And it's always call for immediate to have these. Men and women in from the sheriffs are gonna work with these folks and you know spend. My formative years and it's interesting for me and meet people who put up with. H it really is that they have to do more than once a week yeah I imagine Jimmy welcome Michelle Mann thank you very much we're happy to have you sell. We action today because. There's. You know the sheriff's office and end all of our our great local law enforcement agencies besides doing. Their job. Yes do a lot of good work in the community and to one of the things that you had been involved in the sheriff's off has been involved in since. I was there. Is via Special Olympics yes that's something we've been participating and for several years now. I'm came involved in at about 45 years ago. Who background and now it kind of the low power and influence in open. Probably an active participant and now fundraisers that we have. There were put on lecture so come on you've got us you've got plenty of events. Ken in in the shoot sixty but you've got one what next week next Saturday. Scolded her ground state parks. It's a second annual PowerPoint program and sure it can and if I'm just so we're clear please explain to us what a polar plunges is. Yeah. Jumping in a pool of cold water column on purpose all of our prisoner Saddam donate money to do all of welcome. That's just a little bit like a little too much. Psychotic kind of activity moral or right yeah it does take a special perks yeah it takes a special special not a word I would. That I okay you see your our guests will achieve that note. They have it this is something that we started last year and we had a very good turnout was very pleased who is it. Were proven to. At least meet if not surpass. Our numbers from last year last year we had I think we raised the low overnight thousand dollars a pretty good consider that while the first year on exactly. Whether it's not going to be though. And issued a restraining your train and that's exactly rise well you're certainly hoping that we don't have another Arctic and ask them Hampshire well. If I got to speak housing Clemson may have there's a few weeks ago written and it was the Sunday. That they were predicting chances of snow and them running analyst at my compliments to lose her current account for bad weather and she's like. Really and I was like yeah and it just she was as great. And a break in here in person though not sawgrass that's going to even matter. Well commander. And I pray there's some of the longevity in the it's. Great I guess that's true. So you're raised nine grand a little over 9000 dollars last year and and in about how many participants participants. Think really had a little over a hundred. Rihanna yet we quantities. And it would cover a joint effort between us and city ringel city police department right neither taken participation and to begin this year and and it was great little sibling rivalry there exact. Well you know I wonder if anybody from the city's list and see they can send somebody in and talked about this but now he's down he's an hour raise them because. Here we are. One of the things that was also dealt with this one because this the city's life and that question kind of some ideas we're actually don't have a public safety. Talent was so we kind of a separate ones for just public safety personnel check. And they're gonna have them as quick contest and we're looking at the more degrees warm island or something of that nature in the late in his fair game though it's only. Obama I. War. Your share of nowhere and what you guys and I'm on fourteen people around the wrapped around a lot of for charities and other. Actually in in in all reality that sounds like that's that's probably gonna be something cheaper we want. Should that's. It says like some good opportunity to get some video for the social media oh without a doubt it's that we're we're expecting big. Now what else. See him yet we have many times what else have you got coming up in short order we're probably looking at in May. Doing the consulate could. Which is going to be involved a couple of particularly in the area checked those will be all day event for rule is to put off threw up on the roof. Now we're doing is just take Clinton's home kind of cops on and I shot exactly exactly we were just which comes weeks ago last year. And most are doomed cops on the beat. And packaging and those those eight it at least the ones that we've been involved in death. The the doughnut shop were. Pretty successful in Aaliyah you know you've got the athletes to come out and hang out and everything so that's that's cool and it offers people an opportunity to meet the actual athletes and NC where that money skill that's exactly right now and in the money we did. A 100% of it goes straight to special. On yeah. I think. They usually 10% of their total donations or operating off very very few pounds yeah future. Actions but that harbor federal out of the other a good outing national wonder your exact their art. And that's what Marines are really. And became involved with is. I see where the money's going to see who's who's taking advantage of the money that we raise and and I don't feel like mark here just waste America. These officers who are common now. It is a natural almost them. Traction low with with these actually write really is wonderful. But I think it speaks to that it in his job and I have discussed a million times is this kind of genetic predisposition that that we have to help people. You eat professionally. And personally so I think this is just a natural extension of that there and and you know there's. You get to see tangible results from here. From your efforts to whereas with no are dated a jobs you don't necessarily get to see that that tangible result. Heard big good outcome and not to mention that it is very true. It's genuine appreciation. For for what we did. You know we we involve home. Last your background or state Mark Bryant or left lingering over Charleston week. Provided dinner for local local. Local athlete and an orange river. There's these folks cameramen it was a blessing to all of us. To be able sit down have a piece today. Right and it really was very special for. So in in you mention you wanted to bring up in before we run completely at a time you wanted to mention the bike right tell us a little bit about the bike ride what it is where it starts how long it lasts and and and how that goes to raise money. Always done and passes then pretty much an internal ride just the law enforcement errors office. The first year we need to think we started with non officer in and we started law enforcement centered around Ohio. It and suffered a ride. I ski. On trial to Mount Pleasant revenue overeat work in his line is they. First day Bryant before your new Mary. Was in that you Mary. Which is of bio. 56. Miles on Li ma. The second day we knew Baird arbor witches. Since the harder today because of most elevation that is about 87. Right. And then the third day will be from Orangeburg golden mile plays which Friday at a 103. Days. Or were good times. And a lot of that. Man so it when you do things like that how how it is that a is that a way to raise money and how how do how do you raise money doing that we in that event. The way we've done in the past is each offshore breeze that there's been responsible. Raced 300 dollars. For the chairs action on these offers that are involved in the ride itself. And they still have a lot of expenses coming out of pocket every bit of that money news. Who's the Special Olympics right they were still responsible for the real. They're still responsible for and failed so I mean it is is a lot of money if it comes out of our pocket. In order to devious but we want a 100% of that money going into especially. Yeah I figure on a bicycle was the only way you're safe from new aerial patrols to. Yeah I have to. If you don't hide yourself and I say if I'm not saying that no matter how I trust out of eighteen times in one patrol car. Norton Norwood I've ever said that while I'm on the radio if if I thought that there was any way I would get in trouble for an account and present no wait that's next year you know. So I tell you what how good how does somebody get in touch with you they wanna get involved in any of these men too who is the point of contact in in what should they do. I've just now taken over that position of error event coordinator for rim the sheriff's office deck they can reach me the remarks in Smart phone number to my desk and force success and by 069. Can reach me through my email. Which is a mean neatly. I removed anecdotal. I tell you what do of course Julius of that information and John and I'll put that up on the FaceBook page. And make sure that everybody has an opportunity see it and people can get involved they wanna get involved because it's it was a worthy cause man it really isn't and give thanks for having me. And sorrow pleasure I've really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward and actually can. The more people get to come out marrow that's going to be. Well you know obviously just let me know when you've got other events coming up like in May and and in there after and bring him back in and talk about what you got coming up and asked outstanding at you when we go and go to break and then. We'll come back and start. Both long trudge to listen to Florida coastal Florida. Salute service won a 63 WORD chuck and John thanks so much to us sort of a mile for coming out. And I will be back in just a second. Welcome back salute to service John Turner check Porter won a 63 dead BO RD the F states talks stationed. And down. Obviously the big story of the week there's a lot of things course in this world knows him point 47 that's. The the big story. This Wednesday yet coming out of Florida with the the school shooting. And down. Eat. Small world sometimes and you start read in the stories as they initially come out and then there was. The family here in Simpson bill. Yeah they use grandson was one of the victims and so of course before even entering into this. Conversation. You know just our heartfelt condolences. Two. All the families and the close friends that are dealing with the loss. Of this nature you and I have both. Lost friends loved ones to sudden yes acts of violence and it's it's. An extremely difficult thing to go through it is a a shock in a grieving. Process that. Is. Different than any other kind of lost tribe had. Well one my mother or and sister or even close friends that have had an illness that goes on in the right though that time is coming that. When you have that person achieved just talked to where you decide breakfast or dinner one night and then gone something violent patterns and they are gone it is a tremendous shock so. Before we even get into the the discussion. Just wanna say that you know definitely we yeah. Send our heartfelt condolences our thoughts and prayers with these these families and and that school community there in Florida as they. Struggle to. Give back to normal. If if well if any area yet there there isn't and you still a new normal column by an even however almost what twenty years later almost out. Yeah I mean there's there's there's not ever going to be a normal unfortunately I mean there's your new normal gap that your new normal. Think things will never be the same I guess is the best way to put it because somebody's you know been removed from your life and been removed from your life. It violently and the hard part. Is. Dwelling on. That person's last moments. And what did a feel what they experience what did they hear what they think about and in you know. No matter what kind of person you are the fear and this that person must of had. And in to have that life extinguished. And you weren't there to help them via you know that's that's the part that I think. For me. That that I've struggled win this is. What could I have done that are open what can I am you know could I've been there quicker so on and so forth and is not a chuck pity party. It just. That's what these. People are Vanessa are the stuff that that oftentimes people people thing about all the little bit belittle what ifs and he's one of the things. In whom we've condom only had these types of shootings. Or some type of of crime and that makes national news and it course brings the the gun debate the Second Amendment. Is she used to the forefront again. We've said he here I know I've apps if I've said it once I've I've said it 810 times is that. We need Tuesday. I have a conversation. About. You know this the Second Amendment and our I haven't civil society in all these things and and it calm reasonable logical manner. Because win. We is as citizens. Failed to do that in in these situations it's not and if they'll happen it's just when meg gonna happen. And they happen and then everything. Is just get reaction emotional reaction. And in the politicians. Are all fighting to get in front of cameras and then people that have the build big bully pulpits and in the media getting on hammering their points in the late night comedians having their. Monologue. Just so proud Vasco how Jimmy Kimmel is apparently an expert on everything from healthcare to our armed. And that nobody is going to be handled us and social media of course has been I end eyes obviously spent a lot of time yeah social media. Four fortunately or unfortunately. However you won't look at it but it it it's just a wash with stupidity in the stupidity is not limited to one side or the other trust me. Arrest me it's not new it's not if you if you have a varied enough. Group of friends and acquaintances yeah you're you're hearing stuff from from multiple multiple angles that. One thing when. For the show we're talking about about this situation and one of the first things that we. We're really both an agreement on is. FBI. And a certain extent. Law enforcement locally is it and dropped dropped the ball. Mainly the FB. With these failures because one of the things when we we first start talking in and do on the show with you was like after I had a few friends and have them off fortune over the years but again media yes it wants as accompaniment the time you would not spend together in the law for us we've had any year. Has given me a greater understanding of Quinn the stories come out in the discussions come out on social media about it the cops were called out to this kid's house. Some people are saying 3739. Times 38 times where I show a bunch of times somewhere between 35 and forty times. For a variety of reasons that the police were called out. And it's like you know if one of those instances he had just. Been arrested and then he would have been in mix. And this will be well gun costs possibly possibly depend on what grounds yes and so a lot of people and that's one of things I thought you could bring some clarity to because when I saw that is like. How does this happen thirty something times over a period of a couple of years and that this kid. Does not get arrested and I know that they and that's kind of our starting kick in and they. Conversations with you re playing and about the difficulty that yet blow the cops just can't show opener. And arrest him for no reason there's got to be a lot of if there's there's got to be a couple of things fall into place for that. Hack yeah you can you gotta have a crime yet yet have probable cause to make an arrest. He's in you know it from every part of me looks at this and says man 39 times over whatever period of time. OK now you're starting to open. Nice start to become a pain in the you know what yeah and I am sending officers out to this this residence over and over and over again now I'm now is. Not even his supervisor but just as a cop I got a problem here I've got to solve this yeah I've got to figure out how to make this. This has got to stop because now we're draining resources and obviously whatever is happening in the home isn't. Fixing what needs to be fixed so now I've got to start looking at alternatives. Because this isn't this isn't getting done in in your time in my and I want one lines and you're trying to mobsters and you know if they're if this gets put his hands on you with his kids threatened you I mean there. I can arrest him but I have to have a victim via in if the victim different declines to prosecute. Them. Well being young your answer time enterprise. Does speak obviously for any of these people that again and get out there and possibly because of of over some details on Mike that you're speaking from your experience as a law enforcement all right here in. In South Carolina South Carolina there might be other laws that we're sure we're out of Florida. But generally speaking for the people that are out there right now that have been collectively scratching their heads for the last couple of days about how does this happen now. That's that's that's how that happens see it it does mean is easy is it seems like sometimes is easy it is for some people to to get arrested taken downtown. It's actually in. Surgeons so the situations like this it is. It's not just show up in. Now we're win you can't show opens hero handcuffs on the guy and intake is guns and in all I'm often a car and indeed mean grace. And then you've got the the the commitment aspect of the whole thing where obviously this guy from. You know these Dickau is needed and obviously had some point some kind of psychological evaluation. It I don't know what to you know how that was it was what the outcome of that was. By it. Tried doing an involuntary commitment the state of South Carolina. It's like point nineties you know when you've got at last I dealt with it anyway you you had to have a family member being involved in you know the probate court and mean it's not you can't just keep somebody apart side of the road and you know taken down Marshall Pickens there. You know down Anderson or whatever there's there's got there's there's steps that have to you take there's a process. And in for that person to be you know adjudicated as is mentally ill. Gavin doctor say yeah you know they it's just. And it's it's all that's that's part of our. RRY. Civil rights of our liberties I mean that's part of Kaczynski against some of the same crowd or a light wind and they just like this guy up. Our. Some of the same people not all that some of the same people will be the ones well it's it's my right now I've got to right now haven't broken any laws and that he can't do this to me is a is exactly is this is this is a prayers aren't aren't clear example of that rock and a hard place where here. You've got some my it is clearly clear. A troubled individual name in there was interaction with a law enforcement but not interaction that led to an arrest much less a. Conviction of any right in India. Something that would have necessarily made him an unlawful possessed her firearms you know it did there's certain crimes against you flagged in mix and if he hasn't committed any of those crimes and he hasn't been deemed mentally ill. Well I mean there should. There's a gap there now. Where I have heartache is with the FBI and and don't get me wrong the FBI is the field agents and I've worked with in my career. Aren't the greatest people in the world. But. I don't. I think the culture of the FBI right now. Is a mess and I agree and these these. This that organization had two opportunities to deal with this guy. And the last thing was just. This dude is a lack the doodle and he's got guns and I'm afraid he's gonna get issued school up and the FBI did nothing that they didn't even for. Went quick and Magnus half her for how many years now since 2001. Says seventeen years we've had this if you see something say something. Yeah people's saw somebody said yeah and it's it didn't the government actually then act on Matt and they did not. Now you know what I I get it if it this was you know one time deal where we dropped the ball and you know why it. It happens it happens but this isn't the first time that the FBI has had contact or some federal agency has had contact with. You know person that wound up committing some atrocity Nadal Hassan yeah court good. I am it will of the polls nightclub also nightclub San Bernardino. That they all. To some degree or another head either contact with federal wants. Well aware that it went in and shot up the Pamela Geller there was Galicia the Pamela Geller draw Mohamed cartoon contest that was part of an FBI has set up for heaven's sakes I mean honestly I age it was in the car watching the guy get out here if I mean thank heavens for the data off. I don't think you're shocked that cracker day yet I just I don't. How I'm really lost with this whole thing because this this was completely. Preventable yet 100%. Preventable death and Al Sayer right off. Right out loud is based on what I've seen. From this kid in the history has been released about in just you know from a 101000 foot view. An original world vacation had a gun of any kind earth slingshot. Her pocket seem like a bad thing I've got some stuff we can share after we give back from the break that I got from Houston Chronicle article that this this this kid. Young man clearly clearly very mr. Salute service 1063. WO lord if you would check in John and a cup Patrick off guard but that's all right 'cause he's got the music up and everything's just fine. I stand I stand by we'll be right back. Daly Daly he says ten for UISO one even trying to cash in there you go out. Welcome actually disservice John Turner transporting glad to be with you hope you're having a good day if you are out and about please be safe I saw some people drive and Mike absolute morons on 385 on my way to the studio it's. It's foggy drizzly so why not cut all the way from the left lane to make the eggs a day when rode well and sixty. Plus miles an hour sent if you're if you're wipers are on your blank is on your lights about that I'm not that all right. Jean has called in from Greeneville. Jane look into the show how are. Well because of a long time don't talk. I Yahoo! Lakshmi had required these days I'm I'm just shocked myself by what's happening here that much. Much can regain your. Accomplishes nothing but I nor my hands and knees before it only gotten firm which is what I you don't who to. How would you actually these things. Everybody has solution put what not for example or because of political cultural values situation is that that are right side. I called him about the mental health aspect will be try to do that I wanted to bring up another point Bolivia FBI dropped blowing quote. There are eleven. And whom and who try to the FBI they want Nicole Lee and Ullah. Yes a fair question I don't know the answer to that Mitt aren't death does clearly learned Mahler yeah. Right so shocking to think about what used to Gatwick used to characters not playing trumped a fire Kuby. Trouble just one man and believe me I'm almost sure he joked are you waded through these people are used no adult. But he got to meet this guy here but anyway that's beside the point. I got a call that about the mental health matter and I'm very very Larry aggression. Because. Number one well the national health. Profession if you are to support mark caller is very very flawed why actual movie young leadership. Of those institutions so our you have it's psychology and psychiatry many of them are left where he little cheap ties to. And I I need to say anymore about that delight and what they're going Quito they're sort of shape because. You let you try that you like if you are you shoot guns. I don't volume I have a chemical imbalance. Now Whitney hand we're gonna lock you up from Marshall decades. You and and that war you know art for example I'm probably regression. Publication. Of microbiology butchered the lack. That don't have match in shopper changeup of these do you suffer from. The election I damaged my last name which in New York Italian name. I'm mafia family. It says. A generation yeah anyway I hit it how. Capital city Kabul recognized. So what happened to sit you'd suffer from religiosity. And you don't want to work second. Religion oxygen every overjoyed today heartbeat yet does the New York united debt. How would she talked called like except he's mentally ill be eligible refugees and but she just gives minority you don't write it gives you access. God shall I shall not be very very war arguable that because ignored or extended. To behaviors and attitudes that did not say. People laughed when you I cultural. Just. I think that's I think that's probably if a fair a group of statements and an assumption one thing that down. Where a a psychologist. From a university did has come out in local media. I hear about this not so it's it's a great article was by apt. A doctor and a bright from Furman University. Was weighing in on the mental health issues and stopping mass shootings. And it's a really great article man fascinated and to bring an end today. And now quoting her from part of the article. Mental illness is always blamed when jobs said in many occasions is mostly not true I think it might be true here although what I would say is I admit he has. Antisocial personality disorder which is not a valid defense in court unquiet. And it's a longer article more. Information in there from her. But it's it's it's going to be interesting again I guess as we see this play out not think your points are very valid as you know the -- certain schools of of of thought in the in psychology sociology very liberal others may be little more moderate that to see who's. Whose voices will make it to the top and all the news coverage that good points and be well aware of thanks Jeanne for the call we appreciate it. And now I either just double tap there yelling you always have to make bitchy take gene's calls again because it is the mafia connections he. Don't take his calls on us honest I'm afraid until we exit that Johnny knuckles come ms. Johnny knuckle certain the new chat. Eight he raises a good point this a concern I think it did his then. Pervasive and end the the farms community for quite sometime this that there is you know the the anti gun crowd I guess in your quotes is and he. Seems to be looked and there are always looking for that back door you know to get. They're desired outcome others taxing ammunition or whether it's you know finding people mentally. You know incapacitated her or deficient her to a point where did. You know they can't have guns like what the VA does stay. And a horse that's been a big story as one of the things I've seen a social media people trying to you know. Shift blame on this gun issue used these the president he has some friends I I have acquaintances that. Are intelligent people thing but we're sharing this C he's seed president president trumps on this thing making it easier for mentally ill people to give aren't they yeah no we didn't you never you need to set down for five minutes and read that and you'll understand that's not the case. This but again in a worry generate it this person. This dude where a guy whatever his name and I don't what is now I don't care what his mind on it. Should've had a gun and how to we'd better prevent. People like this yeah and like the animal chances and like the rest of these these guys how do we keep guns out of there out of their hands how. Can we do day in this again to the point. We've made many times is we need to have a rational. Logical. Conversation about this and not wait till these situations happen and everybody's. Get reaction is on one hand what we needed just. Confiscate them all and then on mother and well it's my right it's not right you can't do anything and you get to an understanding of yeah we we probably. Obviously. Need some gun laws and we need the laws that work things that actually work and there should be. Well I think we're in a situation John where we've got laws on the books that work if they're allowed to they are allowed to work the input is made. You know guard that is our lead out right yes well if you don't put anything in you get not an outlook here we've got a case where something was put then. And nothing came out exactly and that is unforgivable yet in my book and in where does that buck stopped yet. You know do you wipe out the whole field office you just fire everybody. Do you you know. Asked the lead FBI director to resign I mean where does that buck stops how do you fix that problem. In alternately how do you fix this culture this seems to be pervasive in the FBI right now. I'm just messing everything up yeah it and I don't mean that it does the field level I mean added that the head shed level. The best thing I've heard and ease in the would make me think of it you where you mentioned culture. There is a teacher. Coast culture is one thing I think we need to address and not talking about the culture at the FBI but the culture in this country there is a middle school teacher. In Florida Kelly got three really. Forty years worth of teaching experience in middle school they're in Florida. She's one teacher of the year in Florida one time and she's posted a message on FaceBook that has just gone viral and I think for good reasons. She says. Quoting again this middle schoolteacher in Florida okay I'll be the bag guy and say what no one else is brave enough to say bill wants to say. Until we as a country are willing to get serious and talk about mental health issues lack of available available care for the mental health issues and this is key here lack of discipline in the home. Horrendous lack of parental support when the schools are trying to control horrible behavior at school and she's got that oh no not my kid. What G due to cost market react that way. Lack of moral values and yes I'll say it violent video games that take away all sensitivity. To any compassion for others lives as well as reality TV. That makes commonplace for people to constantly screaming each other's faces and not value any other person but themselves we will have a gun problem in school. As she goes on to say about how she grew up in in a home they had done she done that just never with her parents. Actually parents that they weren't worried about trying to beat her I'll be her friend. And that. Again the that the culture that we've got out there. That we were talking you've got to this something obviously wrong with this. Yeah ARA McCain wired right. And reports in. Houston Chronicle talk about how neighbors talk about you over the killing and torturing animals all this type serial killer 101 and the end. That how. The parents and the other adults in his life. Not seeing this not do there are unable to deal with it and then again how these you know 35. To forty interactions with the law enforcement that nobody. Did any thing and it felt that the cracks and with tragic results. Man Aden in a week this week in going about this slightly old on about this from one more one more segment and number I don't will grab Jerry to salute service 163 W or. Stem on standby welcome back John chuck salute to service and what goes straight to Jarrius colony am adding as a banish talk on Gerri welcome to the show. But I enjoy your shirt guys thank you got a theory orient you. I uptight group probably all agree that one of the biggest leftist agendas there isn't a stretcher as gun control. There yet player not what what better way to call attention to gun control and to allow. Somebody they go in chewed up a bunch of people. You know I've heard that before and and as a tough one for me man it's it's one thing to to push an agenda. You know administratively against but it did it something entirely different to. You really gotta scrape the bottom of the barrel of of humanity to find. It in agency full of people that are willing to allow children to die. To push a political agenda I can dine in order those are precedents for it but. That that. I'm not saying as a bridge to Forman but that's a lot to swallow. I agree a 100% but you got that name golf our whole list of gates is where the FBI absolutely vital to their mission to protect us yeah surely there. The agent and the agent and Pam go Kart raceway back was actually participating in the bank for crime now. That was it was senator Zeneca our car watching my guy and this and that and I think fathers as some merit to. That the point you bring in that Jerry is still to some kind of like with chat don't think where you might have some leadership that thinks that way. Some supervisory people are people running very specific operations. Fast and furious for one things like that that are. Oh working an agenda but then to think that that would. Filter all the way down to enough agents in the field offices. Because I've just got to believe that there there are agents in that in the field office there in full order right now that are losing sleep. Over the very fact that this this slipped in their hands of these seventeen Americans have have died so violently. And it it is and it's a valid it's a valid it's and it ought to have man I don't I don't know it's it's not a wacky conspiracy theory now for sure now and I think college here have appreciated now we're limited Brothers are. An and I hate to cut people shortly yeah man ran out of time and we try casual text messages the clock it's just I got Florida isn't exactly a red state completes she's down there have input on whether or not a person get to see a BP if that's case with his call history should not have been able legally purchased gun while he's never applied for senior VP yeah I mean it was this was a long gun yeah legally purchased at the age eighteen to. We don't really need to keep guns out of their hands we need to do is in gun free zones and let everyone that is try to harm folks still be shot well. And that's also valid but like John and I were talking during the break about this this text message you get a guy like this what does he care. Yeah yeah I mean I think it yet obviously gun freeze homes are joke yeah I mean there's a whole problem and I said I'm. Rather we've talked about we've covered the stories where there are school districts in certain states where select staff have volunteered to go through the process to go to the training. And I'm not just talk and I heard people colony into the weak dollar would get teachers received a B taste. Believe me. You need more than a seat at BP and punching holes in a stationary paper target to be qualified to respond to an active shooter situation away it would be you would have to go through in my estimation like air Marshal training yet we're just shooting in a crowded environment yet. And it's something that can shoot back you up and take today again I know I've mentioned this several times but. The the afternoon in the day way that we spent over there at the in cat the Greeneville canny training center. Would gas from the swat team was eye opening and that was in a situation where we were. We were shooting at each other but with C munitions that they still her killer still hurting you hit it well and I can promise you I used do you feel it. But that's the type this and you have to have people willing to make that kind of commitment now I think in in our area here in this corner of South Carolina you could you have people that would be willing to do that whether it's faculty and staff. Or parents or retired military retired law enforcement officers sure you would have people willing to do that because we protect every. Politicians when guns are money would go there and ask for God's sakes why don't we wake up and accept the that we need to protect our children. With guns. Fair enough. Salute to service one a 63 W or.
